Hello –

At the risk of proposing another ride that doesn’t suit anyone, I’m giving it another try to-day. I say this knowing that some of you may be riding with Joe and Perry in Lanark. That’s a beautiful county for cycling so if that’s your plan that’s great. You’ll enjoy it, I can vouch for that.

For those of you hanging around these parts, there is a threat of rain but the temperature and humidity will be high. That means road spray and wet legs and wet clothing but no cold weather to deal with. Also, the rain is likely to be scattered showers. Sunday’s weather as of now is not looking good.

I’ll check the forecast and look outside in the morning and I’ll do a Blog Post to confirm or to cancel the group ride. I’ll send the Post by 6 am.

Important Stuff – Tentative Plan:

When/Who: July  11/20: ArnpriorCycling
Start: 7:30 am Start from Stinsons
Where: Carp via W-L and Pakenham, Panmure, Stonecrest
Description: 91 kms of rolling countryside
Coffee Stops: None
Weather: Scattered rain; Temp 24-26C
Wind: NE 12-20

Okay, stay fit, firm, fine – always.

Let the rain kiss you/ Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops/Let the rain sing you a lullaby/The rain makes still pools on the sidewalk/The rain makes running pools in the gutter/The rain plays a little sleep song on our roof at night/And I love the rain.    Langston Hughes
