May 21/16: 131 Kms; 4 Hrs 20; 1158 Metres; Ten Riders

Okay, hey, I’m happy to be resting. That was a ride. Can’t argue with the condition; or, the route. A big thanks to KK for recommending Galbraith. It’s now part of the route repertoire.

Kudos to Rob for a day’s ride of 189 km!

No time this afternoon for deliberations, so:

Here’s the tentative plan for Sunday:

Meet at Stinsons at 8:00 am 8:00 am and ride to Renfrew via Campbell Dr, River Road, Castleford, Garden of Eden, Pinnacle, Butler, S. McNaughton, Opeongo, etc to Tims on O’Brien for coffee; home via Goshen and #508, etc. for a total estimated distance of 85 kms – 100 kms+-. Not sure, just going from memory.

NOTE the Venue and Time. Stinsons and 8:00 am, sharp departure.

Okay, I said no hills for Sunday but in retrospect training is all about overload. We’ll have that in spades by the end of the ride tomorrow. No need for great speed. Just steady and smooth.

Temperatures will be in the mid teens; wind north at 15. Who wouldn’t want to ride in that?

Alert: Important information: These are ‘no-drop’ group rides. It’s steady as she goes (conversational style), except for the hills where it’s every man for himself. Regroup at the top. Honest effort required by all.
