Sept 06/15: 71 Kms; 2Hrs 22; 593 Metres; Seven Riders

Well, hello. That was an honest ride. There was ample climbing to keep everyone happy, although I did falter somewhat on the hills to Burnstown. Still, we didn’t dawdle. We had pace enough without significant effort. I don’t think I have ever come off the ‘mountain’ at White lake with such speed. There we were tucked in behind Rob, who was ‘full-on’ long before we hit the flats at Robertson Line. The tail wind was actually chasing us. It was that fast. You really should have been there.

I mean pedalling a bicycle hard and fast (relatively speaking) over distance is difficult but you are really alive and in the moment. And, to think that it is good for you too. Plus, you meet the nicest people on bicycles. We all agree. Why not join us and find out for yourself?

So, there you have it. There will be no group ride on Labour Day, Monday. See you next weekend. Stay fit, fine, firm – always!

Okay, Ride your bike! Bye bye, ac. Comments always welcome at;
