May 11/14: Eight Riders; 100 Kms; 3 Hrs 26; 381 Metres (adj); WK Total 217 Kms.

Okay, hello. No rain, what’s up. Two splendid days of cycling – good mileage, good effort, good training. Wind galore, enough for x-mas presents for the extended family. I’ve bagged some for when we run short. Mind you, I passed up on the head-wind and the cross-wind and choose the tail-wind bags. These were hard to find. The other two are found a plenty but the tail-wind, why that’s a special commodity. It’s not as rare as saffron nor as expensive but it’s as delightful.

Kudos to Jarrod for pulling the pace-line into a headwind from the Four Corners to Hwy 60 and to Rob for helping me stay in-touch on the road to Burnstown and down Russett Dr. Now, that was an effort. You just should have been there.

Regarding next weekend, weather permitting we will ride the 140 Km Almonte-Hopetown-Calabogie-Arnprior circuit on Saturday and then Quyon on Sunday. We will see. Will we see you?

Okay, ciao. ac.;
